I know of a few people doing over 500 at the wheels on fairly stock 5.3s. A motor set up for a good amount of boost should put down a easy 650 with 18lbs or so. I've seen more on larger cubes. I had a 427 that did 880 on 18lbs and race gas. I also built the motor for that kind of power.

Hmmm you had to ruin it with the wife. Lol. As for getting permission from the girl friend, just buy it install it and take her for a ride. If she's not all smiles and giggles dumb that chick and find a new one. Lol.

is 11.5:1 compression to much for forced induction? i found a buyer for my harley.

Meth and good tuning I think you will be ok on less than 10lbs. Could also buy some 317s and roll

I never installed the turbo. I had it checked by a shop that rebuilds turbos, his opionion was good as new. Im not sure but I think the seller told me around 12m on kit less on big turbo. The kit also has upgraded oil pump andblow offs
