Ok well I'm putting my used Garrett turbo up for sell. this has been a great turbo with no issues. But I'm building a 408 stroker and its just not going to cut it for a 408. The turbo works great with no issues. it has about 6k miles on it with Zero shaft play. Does not leak or burn oil. I would be keeping it but I really have no use for it with the new motor in the works. this was on my stock LQ9 6.0 it spooled great and never fell on it face all the way through the power band. it was a perfect match on my stock 6.0. So Im going to put it up for sale and see if anybody else can use it. I'm in no need of selling it so I'm not going to give it away. Asking $700.00 obo + shipping and Paypal fee. I can also have the inlet turbo house powder coated. If you can see I started cleaning it up to have the housing powder coated. So I will do whatever color PC you want. but I will also do just black.

At what rpm did it start making boost on your setup? I have a stock LQ9 waiting for my truck.

 

At 2800 Rpms it would make 8-9lbs that's what my converter was set up for. I switched to a circle d 3200-3400 stall and I could make 11-12lbs on that converter. It spooled very nice. It starts building but in the lower ROMs like start making boost around 1300-1400 ROMs it had no lag for me
Im awd so I didn't want lag. I wanted to build boost out of the hole. Its a great street turbo. I talked to a guy yesterday who has the same turbo in his f-bodie and really likes it for she street car also
