Angry VIN Locked HPP3??

I ordered a Hypertech from the classifieds section on here and the VIN # was Locked. :-( Any use for this unit now besides holding down loose paper?

Ask for your money back HPP3s aren't locked by VIN# unless they are installed to that VIN,whoever sold you the HPP3 didn't uninstall it from his truck first.

He said he returned it to stock and got a custom tune. Now he won't answer any of my emails. Last time he responded to my email was back in November.

I think you are do a refund, but I don't know how you can go about getting it.It sounds like he got his custom tune with the HPP3 still installed. Then sold you a worthless box,who was it?

I'm sure the moderators can figure out who it is from his file when he signed up.

Yeah, I checked back in my emails and the first email from him asking to pay with pay pal was Nov 2, and I had talked to him maybe 2 or 3 days before that on a different email address. I'm about to look in some past posts and try to find out his username.
