I have one its made by badlanzhpe the actual valve is 3.75" but it only fits the 3" cutout made by badlanzhpe.

there cutoput is made for 3" pipe but it expands out to 3.75" for the vlave.

the valve alone is $145 new plus shipping: I'll take $115 plus shipping (its been on about 2 months.)

but you'll need to be one of badlanzhpe's 3" cutouts for it too fit.

heres there website http://www.badlanzhpe.com/page2.html

PM me if interested or make me an offer

You can send it back to QTP along with $35 and they will fix it and ship it back to you. Very simple. Takes a week or two IIRC.

Oh ok. Sounds pretty simple... Is QTP considered a good quality brand? I just dont want to have it fixed and then still run into problems with it working properly or anything...

Thanks for the offer Josh but for that price after considering both the valve motor you have and then the cutout, i can buy a new one. Thanks though...

Some people have had good luck with them, and some haven't. Both times I have had issues were from having the cutout installed but not the wiring. I think the pigtail that comes off of the motor catches the wind and flaps pretty violently when it's not connected to anything. One time the motor fell off completely on my way from Phoenix to Los Angeles. Most recently, the pigtail came off the motor on another road trip. I never had any problems while I actually had it installed correctly and wired up correctly.
