If I could have found the block at Crazy ray's it would have been $100, but I think I'm going to buy one off eBay. I got a freight quote tonight shipped to a terminal in Hagerstown, MD. The overall cost for the block and the freight is going to be $260. I don't think anybody is really going to be able to match this anyways so I might as well take it.
Thanks for the help guys!

Thanks, Mitchell. That is a pretty good price, but I went ahead and bought the 4.8L block off eBay. Besides, the 4.8L is definitely what I want, over the 5.3L.

I bought this one here.... eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices
He said he would send me the "best" one. I still plan to pull it apart and hone the walls out a little bit.
I'm not sure if I want to keep the stock pistons. I should probably invest in forged ones.
