They'll ride fine if you crank them up on your truck, once you start decranking you will lose all your uptravel on the stock shocks and the ride will suffer. I have Spindles + keys on my truck for about 4.5" of drop and it rides great though I had to swap the shocks out for shorter bilsteins and I'm also running the Z71 tahoe bumpstops.

I used the bilstein HDs for the Hummer H3 up front and 21.5" extended length 5100s out back with shock extensions. To disable the autoride you simply disconnect the battery for a few minutes and remove the RTD fuse in the engine compartment fuse panel. The fronts ride best due to the integrated bumpstop on the shaft:
The bilsteins are honestly a bit long for the drop I'm running but the z71 tahoe bumpstops limit my uptravel and it rides really nice for being so low.
