i may be going with a pi converter soon , so i will have a 2800 tcs converter for sale .

Personally I wouldn't use the TT2600 or TT3000 for anything except a stock application. Neither of those converters has braised covers or anti-ballooning plates, which means they are weaker than other converters that have these things.

Power and RPM are the enemies of weak converters, and a Radixed motor with upgraded cam & springs means you have the potential for both.

If converters didn't regularly take out whole trannies I'd say what the hell, why not, but converters taking out trannies happens a lot. I would be careful in my decision making.

I have decided to pony up and get a PI converter. I don't know weather to get a 3 disc or 5 disc.........Who has the best price on these?

If I got a Yank I'd get a PT or SC series, both of which have critical features the TT series does not. But I see you're getting a PI which is even better.
