Default WTB Used Head gaskets

Let me know if anyone has some old used head gaskets laying around for a 4.8,5.3 or 6.0. Thanks

Default gaskets

Personally I would'nt reuse old gaskets your asking for trouble and the likelyhood of having to pull your heads again. I'm cheap to, and when I went to the dealer for a set of head gaskets they told me it would be about $400. He told me that they were part of a complete gasket kit that could'nt be seperated. I then called summit racing for a set and the tech told me that he has a supercharged 5.3 putting down 600 plus HP to the wheels and he recommended the factory gaskets. I told him I was to cheap to pay $400 for gaskets. He said his GM dealer seperated the head gaskets from the kit and only charged him $65. Long story short I got my hands on oem gaskets for $65 from the dealer. My point, $65 is a small amount to pay for the garantee that I won't be pulling my new heads off anytime soon. There kind of like the head bolts(torque and stretch design) there just not meant to be reused or I would have kept my old set and resold them. Happy wrenching, sincerely, bryan
