WTS: Corsa Sport Muffler
I have a slightly used Corsa Sport Muffler. It was used approximately 3 weeks on my wifes Denali 6.0 and my truck. The sport was too loud for her and the kids so I bought a Corsa touring muffler from a guy and now I am left with a Sport. The instructions show it to fit 5.3 and 6.0 truck/suv. Asking $200 shipped. I can send pics if you provide me your e-mail address.

Neversatisfied02 has been trying to find someone to swap his Touring muffler for a Sport for the past few days, maybe swap him and have another Touring for your truck (or wife's truck, whoever doesn't have it now

We were gonna swap which would have turned out great for both of us but then i found out the mufflers were different due to his being made for a 6.0L and mine being for the 5.3L. Other than that, i would have swapped him. Thanks for the reference though man!

Exterior casing is the same but the guys i spoke with at Corsa said the interiors are quite different. He named some technicalities on why but he also said because the 6.0L is a louder motor to begin with, my 5.3 touring muffler would be just as loud as the 6.0 sport muffler on his truck and his 6.0 sport muffler on my 5.3 would be quite a bit quieter than a 5.3L sport muffler which in that case, i might as well keep my touring. I dont really know for sure the difference but the 2 guys i spoke with at Corsa, (Paul and Jeff) both said they would not suggest the swap because every muffler is designed specifically for its own application.
They said the Sport is more common but there is more work put into the touring mufflers and that is why they are more expensive than the sport. He also said that the touring mufflers are normally the ones people run if they are going to run LT's because the dont get so raspy and loud without the cats. He suggested i keep my touring unless i just really wanted to sport so now im trying to decide if i should settle with it being a little quieter than i was wanting or if i should go ahead and swap someone for a 5.3 sport muffler like i had originally planned.

1slow01Z71: I was thinking your truck had the 5.3 but i remember you did the swap to the modded 6.0L awhile back. Id like to hear a clip of the corsa on your setup once you get it....

Yeah if you call a 418 a "modded" 6L. I already have a corsa sport system on my truck I want another muffler to put on the GFs truck.
