yup. if you look on the yank site under truck converters it is listed as 4L80E ls1 style. you MIGHT need a different flexplate like I did. as I found out, there are 2 different ones. Not sure why.

What kind of flexplate did you have to buy?

I am using the flat 6.0L flexplate with crankspacer on my 5.3.

mine came with the one with the spacer. The one you need for this converter has no spacer. I'll throw it in for free

ok, for all of you who have PM'd me about whether it will work in your application or not, I just got off the phone with Dave at Yank.

If you are putting it in a 2500HD like mine with factory 4L80e you will need the flexplate that I am including in the sale. Your factory flexplate is flat and has a spacer, plus the bolt pattern is different.

If you are putting it in any other newer LS based vehicle that didn't come with a 4L80e, you already have the correct flexplate. All you need is a 4L80e transmission.

It will not work in a pre LS1 style engine.

To repeat, this will work in any 99-up truck as long as you are using a 4L80e no matter what transmission your truck started with.
