this hits close to home with me, recently I had a friend get killed by a drunk driver, he was hit head on by a drunk driver then he was ejected out of the vehicle (montero) the vehicle then flipped catching him in the back of the head and killing him. I was also in an accident recently where the cop thought I was DUI, yes I had a few drink but I had been asleep for almost 3 hours before the wreck, I had only had two drinks, this has made me slow down on drinking a lot, and 2 years ago I had another friend get killed, he was also ejected out of the sunroof on his explorer, he was pronounced doa when the ems and fire dept arrived

I have had 4 friends or family killed by drunks since 94.I think it's great when drunks get locked up for their deadly decisions. My wifes cousin and his girlfriend were killed while sitting on his Harley at a redlight.A 20yr old guy hit them from behind at 80-100 mph his blood alcohol was in the low 3s.He tried to flee but was dragged from his maxima and beaten unconscious by several witnesses. His mother had the audacity to get on T.V and bitch because the good samaritans were'nt prosecuted. He got 13 years in prison, not enough IMO.I don't drink so anything to make life harder on drunks is just fine with me.

My heart goes out to that poor girl and her family. She musy be extremely strong to go on with life. I wish I could help!! Drunk driving is some thing most of us have done, but only some of us stop doing. It just is not worth it. Cab rides are cheap man!!
