I switched out my steering column today for one with good ignition switch and cruise.The column did not have air bag.How do I remove horn cover to get air bag out of old column.I tried search and did not get a clear answer.

I don't think the horn cover comes off??? I believe there are screws on the backside of the steering wheel that hold the bag assembly in the wheel.

Hopefully someone will confirm this!!!

figured it out.Took out 2 torx screws from rear cover,peel back cover enough to release springs holding cover and bag .
