I was unaware that a 3" Aerochamber came stock on the Silverado. But I have to agree, it was probably the spinning that hurt the most.

I don't know if the Chevys run any faster when they get some miles on them but the Nissans do after about 3000. A lot faster.

The titan either had a 2.75 rear gear or a 3.36 if it has a towing package. If he has the 18" wheels, the tires are about 32.5" tall. Those trucks are way undergeared (believe me I know).

And heck yeah! A win is a win!

i was kinda comparing because it is almost stock, the chev. probably still doesnt have the same hp as the titan does even if the chev. had the aerochamber??? and considering the chev. was a cc and the titan a ec??
sorry if I did not make myself a little bit more specific (clear)....

I drove my dads silvy CC stock wtih 3.23 gears and that thing is a turd. I thought my 04 CC was bad with 3.42 G80.

good kill with the Titan though. I still may call it a fluke, the wheel spin killed himself.

They have to be undergeared to get any kind of gas mileage vs a LS1 based truck.

That's the truth.

No one is. Apparently in Nissan's ultimate wisdom, the crappy Dana 44 is a special-built unit. From what we've seen and heard the regular Dana 44 stuff won't work in the rears of these vehicles. Talk about getting painted into a corner.

Wow, every Titan I've seen run at the 1/4 will crush any Chevy truck. I was shocked at first, but after reading all the mags and showing how much faster they are stock, it made sense. Then they talk about the 305hp being a fluke, that it's really much higher. First I've heard of a slower Titan, hopefully they slowed them up in '05! Ha ha!
