My dad just got an 05 silverado RCSB 4.3L (mine's in sig), and for some reason it's almost as fast as mine but I have a 5.3L V8. Do the 05's have a higher stall or something?

 

i can't answer that question but don't feel bad about it being almost as fast as yours. my wifes TB will hang with my truck from 55 on. i mean, she is right at my rear bumper. not sure how it would be from a dig.

 

That can't be. The difference between those two are amost 2 seconds. Have you teken your stock 02 to the track? It should be in the low 15's in decent weather. High 14's in optimal conditions.

 

I wish I could take it to a track, my dad would whoop me if he found out I did.

 

 

My 01' rcsb 4.3 ran 15.1@88 with a few mods. I traded it in for a much slower Dakota RT. That was dumb.....................

Two weeks later i bought my current truck.

 

Not sure what those 4.3 rcsb run in the quarter but when my 4.8 was stock and running 16.6, they would see my tail lights. Not by much though.
