Default 06 chevy brake problems Im stumped

truck is a 06 4x4 w 90k just put brakes on it less than 9k ago and they were down to the metal again. they warrantied the pad and rotors out. took a ride in the truck and came back and the brakes are smoking.... thought maybe it was the oil and all on the rotors cause they were new...let it cool took another ride...smoke rolling off like we were riding the brakes..

I replaced the lines.... still doing it

We were told that it could be the calipers but the easiest way to tell if they were bad is they should be difficult to push in and out but they are really easy... they are not sticking.
can anyone give me any insight?
I have got to get this truck fixed...i dont wanna buy new calipers if they are not bad....
both fronts are doing this
could it be the master cylinder

If the caliper slide pins are frozen it could cause what you are describing.

Are you getting good braking from the back? Might happen if the fronts are doing all the work. Could also be the master cylinder sticking.

Did someone top off the master cylinder with the wrong fluid? I've seen this make the brakes smoke like that...how does the pedal feel?

I have played with the brakes on the trucks for 3 years now. Every time I do, soemthing else happens. The goddamn ABS valve gives me fits because it has to be pulsed while bleeding. blah blah blah, take the truck to someone. Its worth it, brakes are nothing to screw with.

Are the calipers moving freely on the sliders? Wheel bearings tight?

took a ride in the truck and came back and the brakes are smoking.... thought maybe it was the oil and all on the rotors cause they were new...let it cool took another ride...smoke rolling off like we were riding the brakes..
This is my main concern...is this still going on?

see thats what im trying to figure out are the sliders the area where the pads actually sit or are the sliders the rubber boot section where the caliper bolts up at?

Ahhh, I can't get a mental picture of the caliper in my head for some reason, but IIRC, the caliper bolts (the torx fasteners) serve as the sliders. (I just did brakes on my Blazer and that's the way they were). I do remember coating them with nickel grade anti-seize when I did the brakes. Did the pads match up with the old ones, and slide in freely when you installed them? Was there a lot of rust that may make the pads sit tight in the saddles, not allowing them to release?

Some pics of the front caliper set up would definitely be helpful...
