If you can make it do immediately crack the lines at the master cylinder. If you have fluid come out with pressure then you are looking at either a master cylinder that has gone bad or an abs unit. Ran into this before on a couple of different trucks at the shop. One time it was a master about a year later had another truck through and it was the ABS unit. Sometimes if you can get it to not act up for a bit and it is the abs unit you can panic stop it from 45-50 to zero with your foot buried to the floor several times and it will solve the problem. It cycles the valves and solenoids internally during an abs stop and it will clear debris if it is an obstruction causing your problem.

on this 06 the pads sat on a silver metal tab so i removed then and greased em with the high temp silecone they sell by the parts store register. seems to have fixed the problem thanks for all the replys everyone
