Seeking suggestions for further upgrades. In terms of performance, I am waiting for a Magnacharger to come out with a intercooled package. I will have longtubes on it before that. It is the weak 4.8L, but I don't care - I can make it fast with a little concept and hard work.

Anyways, what suggestions may you have in regards to appearance? At this point I intend to black out the mirror covers and door handles and also purchase a GM gloss black grill to get rid of that ugly flat black. I have been putting some thought into Street Scenes rocker panels for somewhat of a "cladding" look - should look better and fill in that gap that exists even after drop shackles and lowering blocks removed. I would like for somebody to come out with a decent single-scoop ram air hood, too. I have also considered putting the "styling edges" on the door panels that the LT's come equiped with, with some type of chrome accent emblem above it, such as the GM Performance Division emblems...(of course that will require at least 350+ RWHP)

Anyways, what does everybody think?

that a nice truck. It's screaming for a 5/7 drop. sometimes i wish i would have gotten black, lol.

 

yea, but how much, how difficult to install, and how much does in effect the ride? I am a noob when it comes to suspension - never messed with it outside of a spring change on a GTO and what I've done to this one!

Definitely a nice truck! I wouldn't do anything to the appearance except for a big drop. I kinda like the look of the flat black grille. The flat color sets the grille off nicely and it gives the truck a mean look, IMO. Just keep it simple!

 

this is JMHO but it could benefit from :

5/7 drop
colormatched mirrors, handles, grille shell
billet grille and billet bowtie
do something with the onstar antenna, either get it shaved or get a 3" billet one
roll pan
hard tonneau cover - ******** x2000 or snugtop snuglid
either a bed rug or a spray in liner

 

I love it...wish I had one Definitely needs to be lowered IMO.

 

IMO I would color match grill, bumper front and rear, side mirrors, and door handles, i would sell the ss wheels and try and set up with some stock 20's and a nice 5/7 drop

 

that one definatly looks sweet, but i like the SS wheels a lot more than the stock NNBS 20's. what drop is on that?
