Default 07+ Sierra Denali Aftermarket?

I've seriously been thinking about ditching the Silverado SS for the newer Sierra Denali with the 6.2L and 6spd auto. I like the looks of the SS better, but could really use the room of the denali and like the idea of the 6.2L as a foundation (L92!) and 6spd auto trans and retain the awd.

My only concerns are that I am noticing there are not alot of aftermarket mods out there. How far off do you guys think the radix kits or maybe a vortech or procharger kit will be? I havent even found any LT headers and it doesnt look like Corsa is making exhaust yet. I know I could always just roll with a 408 that could be dropped in and that might be an option as well.

i am debating whether to get a new truck too. i want to get a GMC but not sure which one. i am not sure if i want to spend alot of cash on the denali. i love the looks of it, and would love to have a 6.2. now i am debating whether to get a 5.3 or a 6.0. i liked the interest rates for the month of feb, but i did not pull the trigger. i guess the availability of aftermarket mods for 07+ had something to do with me not purchasing a new truck.

You shouldn't have any issues with fitting NNBS LT's to the Denali. Other mods are few and far between at this point. Of course with the L92/LS3/LS9/LS7/LSV head configuration becoming popular in so many other vehicles it won't be long before the aftermarket has parts available.
If you are really impatient buy the LS9 supercharger or the LSV version and slap it on your ride

Pretty sweet runs! Are you running 3.42's? Those are some pretty impressive times and mph's being basically stock.
I haven't been to the track yet so I don't have any numbers but my engine sounds like it rev's a little quicker (probably due to the 3.73 gears). Do you know how much it weighs?

Thanks, Never weighed her yet, GM says 5,250ish lbs for 2wd....

Just intake,exhaust,tune...I like being under warranty, only a factory flash away : )

I'm running the stock 3.42's, 1st gear is done by 39-40mph here with 32'' tall tires... My 1st is still more agressive overall than the ol' 4spd with 4.56's gotta love 6L80 and 20mpg on the hwy in OD.

Yep I know what you mean. 35 mph is about the upper limit for me with the 3.73's. First gear goes by real quick I can't quite hit 20 mpg's because of the gears and AWD I assume.

At what point is there too much gear? I really couldn't imagine running 4.10's with this tranny....

I'm sure that extra drivetrain loss and steeper gears are hurting ya some with MPG's. Are you tuned? Quite the project you have there, musta took some time ...TVS or Turbo in your future?

I'm very impressed with this motor, I'm gonna leave this truck as is but considering a Tricked out L92 Stroker 418ci for a project truck...

This kinda low end power really makes me coming from a naturally aspirated small block.... http://www.ls1gto.com/forums/showthr...ferrerid=13414
