Question '08 crew cab rear seat conversion

I would like to convert my 60/40 rear bench seat to 2 individual seats without a console leaving the space between them open. Any ideas or suggestions on which particular seat would be compatible and if so where to find them?

Might be cheaper to get an upholstery shop to cut the 60 seat down to 40 and make it look factory. Whats the reason for that anyway?

Yeah i did consider modifying the original seat. The only problem with that is finding a shop within reasonable distance. I wanted to make some extra room for an audio project I'm geting started on, but without sacrificing my entire back seat area to do it.

Thanks though. I am definitely open to suggestions because I would surely like to keep the factory look of the seats. I just didnt know if there was a similar style replacement that would work or if a cut-down of the original was my best bet.

The nnbs suv 2nd row captain seats might work, but they're hard to find, those look good and probably you just need to drill new holes to install them.

I wanted to have 4 buckets in my extended cab but there wasn't room. I ended up modifying the seat. Just cut out the frame, had a buddy weld in some new supports, trimmed the foam, and dropped it off at an auto upholstery shop. It's a little claustrophobic back there, but loud as hell!

I actually just finished stripping it down and cutting the frame myself. Gonna have it welded up tomorrow. Looks like its gonna turn out very nice. got a ballpark figure what think I'll b lookin at on the upholstry end? Gonna end up doing front seat as well, but for now i just gotta finish everything in the back.

Tahoe/Escalade 2nd-row buckets swap right in. There is a guy on here who did the swap in his crew not long ago; you should be able to find the thread with a quick search.
