Default 1/4 mile times with Whipple

Well finally made it to the track today to test out the Whipple. My last pass on motor before the whipple was 14.83@89.87 with a 2.1 sixty foot on street tires and with the whipple 13.81@97.84 with a 2.0 sixty foot with drag radials. Im not disappointed with the time but i still think that it should run faster. Im definetly open to any suggestions, i tried launching at anywhere from above idle to 2000 nothing really seemed to help. It didnt seem to spin but i dont think a tenth faster sixty foot with a supercharger and drag radials seems right either. Im still fairly stock, flowmaster, hypertech, eaton posi, is 13.8@97 all i should expect?

the times sound nice, but you need some headers. with that setup a set of ASM headers would really help that thing breath. now if you already have some headers, than forget what i am saying. i feel with your setup and headers i would think you could run high 12's or definetly low 13's.

No way will headers put him in the high 12's....The mph is not there. Mph shows hp....95mph is not going to jump up to 101 or so with headers....How much boost you running?....

Step, what you said i would agree that it might get him in the low 13's but that's about it....He has no mph.....That means the motor is not making HP.....

Im running 7lbs of boost its stock manifolds, no converters with camaro flowmaster. Before the supercharger i went from 15.5 on motor to 13.51@101 on a 125 shot of nitrous. The other pass i made yesterday was a 13.8@101, i dont think headers will drop me almost a full second i agree they will help along with a torque converter but im not able to afford either right now. The whipple mil light is flashing all the time a code one light then 8 lights but the instructions i got with the supercharger dont list this code anyone know what this means?

There is no code of 18 that I know of. Here is the list of codes that was in my instruction book:

21 Engine RPM
24 Mass Air Flow sensor
25 Throttle Position sensor
26 Inlet Air Temp sensor
27 Engine Coolant Temp sensor
31 Oxygen Sensor 1
32 Oxygen Sensor 2
33 Auxiliary Injector 1
34 Auxiliary Injector 2

You still should check though...is this happening under boost or all the time?

Its flashing the code all the time even when not under boost. I have all the codes that you listed thats why i was wondering if maybe someone knew something i didnt. I think Whipple has updated the kit because when i got the kit (used) it came with a new instruction manual from Whipple and it said that it was revised. Almost half of the instructions did not match the setup i had, for instance the instructions showed it using one belt to run everything including the supercharger, my kit uses a seperate belt and a crank pulley the new instructions didnt mention anything about any of that, also the wiring was somewhat different than in the instructions. So what im guessing is maybe this is an older kit and it has different warning codes <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />
