I'm not sure about a 10" Bazooka, but I have seen 4 - 8" Bazookas under the seat of an ext cab Silverado. In my 2000 Silverado, I had 2 - 12" L7 Kicker 12's but I had to make some brackets to lift the back seat 4 inches. It wasn't bad for anyone under 6ft tall to ride in the back seat. I think I still have the "rear seat lift kit" LOL if you are interested.

They should fit if not it will be pretty close. All you would have to do is get you two metal plates and drill holes in them to lift the seat brackets to make them fit its not that big of a deal.

I had one in my 98' which I believe was a 10". I still have it sitting in the garage right now. If I get a chance I'll throw it in my 03' tonight and let ya know.

Sure it fits, but why would you want it to when a 12 inch downfiring box will fit easier and sound better.

I don't want to build or have a box built. I like that the bazooka is self amplified in one package for space reasons. I only plan on installing 1 10" under seat and was wondering if one will fit.

Thanks,
Rob

Well I thought I had a 10" but it was only an 8". The speaker was 8 inches and the tube measured from tallest point across 10" total.

I put it under the back seat and it fits under there just perfect. I had to lay it sideways to fit all the way back, because its too tall if you lay it upright.

So I don't think a 10" will fit that well or at least your not going to be able to push it all the way under the seat cause the seats have a slight taper on them.

BTW there are some boxes that are built to fit the rear underseat area on these silverados. I have a vantage box that fits one 12' sub....let me know if you want specs/pics. I would have spent the same amount to use a bazooka and wouldnt have gotten the same results.
adios
