Question 120 mph gauge

I am wanting to get a Escalade Dash cluster but the guy selling it has a 120mph gauge fce along with it. My truck has only 100 mph face. What will I have to do to get it to work or should i just throw the face out and get a 100 mph one?

If im correct from the 2000 to 2002 they are interchangable. Chevy, GMC, Cadillac, suv's & trucks. Same goes for 2003 & up, they are all interchangable withing the range of years. Escalade & Denali have 120 MPH and a tranny guage as well as better looks, wich is why the upgrade is a good choice. On 99 vehicles if you swap the cluster for a 2000/2002 some light would turn on I think? Hopefuly someone with more knowledge on this matter will shine in.

I just looked at it again and I noticed it has a trany temp gauge and mine doesnt. I guess i will just use teh dash cluster (the reason why i am buying it) and then buy a escalade white faced gauge replacment for my year model truck. Here is the Gauge face I would buy I dont wanna post the dash cluster cause he only has two and I want to order mine first hehe.

Gauge Face

The pic has teh escalade dash cluster in it but doesnt come with the gauge. but that is what it will look like in my truck. The reason why i am gettign it from summit is i got a 20 dollar discount from them when i bought my muffler so i am goign to use that.

thats for a denali cluster. the denali doesnt look as nice as the escalade one thats why they have a conversion kit. the denali cluster gotes to 120 and has the trans temp. i was going to get the denali and get that same conversion kit. but i got my escalade cluster for $230 shipped. does anyone know where to get the white face overlay for the escalade cluster?

99-02 Escalade/Denali Gauges are fully interchangeable with 99-02 silverado/sierra/tahoe/yukon ect. you just take your guages out and plug the new ones in done. No light and no hooking up a sender for the trans temp it's all done. Same with the 03 and up. You man NOT use change the years 99-02 gauges will not work with 03 and up vehicals and 03 and up gauges will not work with 99-02 vehicals. You will need the Odometer recalibrated because it will read the milage of the previous car it was in.

Hope this helps.
