135mph = blown driveshaft...

Default 135mph = blown driveshaft...

i was racing a gt last night on my way home from the track, 3rd gear about 6300rpm . driveshaft blew right out the back bounced off my rollpan and into the median. i was suppose to dyno tomorrow but now i have to find a driveshaft and get it in asap!

Do you have a driveshaft place near by? Do yourself a favor and have a custom one made. I had the same thing happen to me and for the 250 i spent on the new one its just a good piece of mind.

hell i'd spend 250 on a custom driveshaft that won't blow but everything i've heard is around 500 or more.

****.. I bet that scared the **** outta u? looks like it didnt **** ur bed up tho, so thats good. Hows the roll pan? Hope it doesnt happen to me.. I've done a couple 120's on the freeway

The place by me made mine and he makes them for 7sec cars. He said if i break it he would build me one for free. Whats that say. Ive ran mine for 3 years now and its perfect. I can hook you up if you would like. Let me know.

Stock shaft + 4.10's + short tires + 130mph =

Someone needs to calculate with your tire size how many RPM's that thing was doing when it broke. It must have been insanely high.

Build it back stronger!!

yea it was freaking loud! i looked in my rear view mirror and dust went everywhere and half my driveshaft was bouncing 6 feet in the air down the middle of the fast lane and the gt i was beating swerved out of the way barely.

my shift is at 6300 which is 135mph, but i think it broke right when my truck shifted into 4th.
