Sorry to hear about the bad luck.
If you don’t mind me asking? What does your truck run at the track?
My truck is a 1988 & knock on wood, I’ve never had a drive shaft or joint issue. I run a stock shaft & HD joints & constantly check them. I have a 2 piece shaft & 2 loops (just in case).
I hope you find a permanent fix soon.

mine went when i hit the govenor (95-100mph) on my 05 crew. back end hopped about a foot off the ground. luckily i was a quarter mile infront of any other traffic. i only had the truck 6 months from the time i bought it brand new. it was still under warranty but the dealership kept it for 3 weeks to search for something that i might have done to cause it. their excuse was "that just doesnt happen". even now when i hit 92 mph i can still feel that shake and vibration that i felt when it went the first time.
