Thought I would update this. The brackets have been made and are waiting to be shipped out tomorrow. I'll pull my truck apart tomorrow afternoon and get it ready to mock the new brake kit up on tuesday.

Okay today was pretty productive. I ordered SS brake fittings yesterday thinking they would be delivered today. Turns out it wouldn't be till tomorrow so I went to SoCal and miraculously found the fittings. He said they had been on the shelf since 2007 .
Anyway I made up the SS lines, picked up my wheels and tires from discount, and got the banjo bolts, brake fluid and gear oil from CAP. Got everything back together and I gotta say it turned out really nice. Still needs to be bled more the truck stops just like it did before, if not better. I think the SS lines make a lot of difference. I did some pretty harsh 50 mph stops up and down the street and decided to touch the rotor to see if the rear brakes were working. Burned the **** out of my finger. So there is a retard story for you BlackGMC.
I did notice some scraping on my wheel when I backed it out of the lift. I had to grind the top of the drivers side caliper and the bottom of the passenger side caliper maybe 0.020". It was just scraping some paint off of the wheel. So I'm very confident these will fit ANY 15" wheel considering my cragars are really only 13-1/4". Anyways, enjoy these pics:

Looks like it turned out nice. I am curious to see how the aluminum backing plate works out after some heavy heat cycles and hard braking. Seeing the spacing on the slide pin, do you think the thicker 1.25" rotors will work with a 1/2" backing plate thickness?

Another plus to this swap is it saved about 30lbs. Not much, I know, but it beats switching to drums and probably gaining weight.
I'm going to put fuel in the truck tomorrow and drive it hard for the next couple days. I'll put the aluminum to the test.
