You cant jsut drop an new overlay on there and say it registers 160mph. I could take a sharpie to my escalade cluster and mark 160 where 120 used to be but that doesnt mean it really does go up to 160. They need some kind of recalibration device.

i called them again a few minutes ago, i probably heard wrong but the guy told me it's gona cost around 350 bucks(it could be less or more 
). and you would have to send them your cluster and they will recalibrate it so it actually works. I think 350bucks it's a lot of money but i would buy one instead of the 140mph tahoe speedo.

since gm won't sell you a cluster, they also don't list part numbers. you have to get the part number either from the cluster itself or call the cluster dealer.
