guys, i'm looking for a 4x4. came across a 1999 silverado z71, extended cab, shortbed. its got the 5.3. i can get it for 12500 out the door. what do u think. kinda high? havn't seen it in person yet. its got 76,000 miles on it and is supposedly in great shape. let me know what you guys think. thanks

 

$12,500 out the door doesnt sound to bad, my buddy just payed 12,000 for an 01 that has a 4.8 4wd with like 60k miles and it was HAMMERED, both bumpers were crushed the interior was a huge mess, scratches and dents all over the place

 

I'd check the NADA value on it and see how close it is. My friend just bought an 02 with the same mileage (5.3, 2wd LS loaded except for leather) for that price, and that was from a dealer.
