do you see any problems doing a 275/55/20 rear tires and a 275/45/20 front tires, the 55 is 31.8" and the 45 is 29.8"

on a rwd 05 silverado

I run 255x45x20 up front and 295x40x20 rears, no problems so far.

2001, truck in sig. My tires are close in size though. I believe 01 thunder ran a 2" shorter tire n front as well.

It will not hurt anything. If you have a flat you will be in a fix though.

I would go with the same or closer diameter front and rear. Typically you would put wider tires on the rear.

On my Impala, back when the ABS actually worked and it had 3.73 gears, I put 2" shorter tires up front and the ABS light was triggered. There was too much of a difference in wheel speed between the front and rear. However, when I put the shorter tires on the back, I had no problems.

you sir, have the winning answer, checking a few other sites and few guys that work at dealerships say the same, I'm going with the 45 all around

one more question, I will have to travel about 60 miles to my tuner for him to set up the 275/45/20 from the 275/55/20, do you see any problems doing this

your speedometer will be off, but other than that, no problems. once tuned your speedo will be back to normal.
