2004 Silverado - A/C to Heat Issue
I have a 2004 Silverado with dual slider manual controls. For the last few years when on cold, it has been making a clicking sound... and now I have either hot or cold, no middle ground. And, after driving for a bit, the drivers side vents will start putting out hot air. I have searched the forums and google, and it sounds like I need to replace an actuator but have a few questions I hope someone can help with....
There are a lot of actuators available, I am not sure which to choose. Thus far, I am looking at a Dorman 604-106 Air Door Actuator (OEM Part Number 16163982, 52402588, 89018365) Would this do it?
Also, is there a difference between a blend door? I'm thinking perhaps the actuator controls the blend door? If so -which do you all think the culprit would be?
As always, thanks for the help!

It's the drivers side temp actuator that died. Dont waste your time with aftermarket junk. Go to a dealer give them your vin and tell them you need the drivers side actuator. Replace it then find a tech 2 and do a actuator re-learn and you are good to go.
