I am currently searching and compiling information.

MY DD is the Crew Cab with a worn driver's seat, dash and carpet.

I ran across a running and driving 2005 Escalade at a Police Auction that looks minty fresh.

My main question is, does the dash top, bezel, gauges and everything swap over?

My truck is an LS with the full console and steering wheel controls, etc, so most of that should be a direct swap.

I'll be doing the Captains in the back.

I am power everything, so all that should plug in.

If you have leather then everything will plug right up.

If the years are the same, it should be plug in wiring harnesses. They changed the order of pinouts on some years, so even though harnesses will plug in, you need to double check the order of the pins / wires. I swapped 2006 Escalade interior into my '04 regular cab. I had everything working except the airbag system. I just didn't care enough to figure it out.

Year for year shouldn't be an issue. All the plastics will swap over.
