2006 dash/seats swap to 2000
Quick questions, would it work if I find junk yard color grey 2006 silverado dash, seats and some misc to swap to 2000 gmc sierra since its tan. My girlfriend son 16 years old want to change all stuff. I want to confimation if it will fit before I ahead search it?

You could if you were okay with doing it half-***. To do it decently right, then No. The seats mount the seat belt differently. The dash won't ever look right because of the bottom and the AC controls. If its a 2000, just use the interior from a 99-02, (tahoe, yukon, suburban, and escalade 00-02) will also work.

Ppl often tell me the 03+ interiors look better and I just don't see it. Maybe because I am used to my 02 interior
you can do it, but as mentioned above you either have to jump both feet in up to the nuts in cold water or do it half ***
if you had the entire 03+ truck to pull the dash, HVAC, harness, cluster and BCM from: easy. Nothing but time
if you're scrounging the yard, I agree with the above post and get the 00-02 interior pieces in the color you want

(when he says "HVAC", that's the entire AC system). The interior colors have different names, but they are the same color with a shinier sheen later on for the trim. You're not missing anything.
You should find out what he wants too, and just take your time to find it. The pickups are more likely to have manual seat tracks and cloth (a little lighter weight, and easier). The SUVs are more likely to have electric seats or leather (ohhh how fancy), and center consoles. The avalanche has two tone cloth. Denalis and Escalades have nicer interiors, and center consoles. This is all basic stuff, I would tell him to search and learn. Front seats from the newer model (07-13/NNBS) will bolt right in with no fuss. They look better, but expect to pay more for em.

Ahhh okay. Unless you have a great place to get all of that, I can think of: Craigslist, facebook marketplace, offerup, and any yards you have. They also make a black non-carpet floor covering (having trouble coming up with that word this morning). Its not as perty, but if he is someone who tracks in mud, its easier to clean, industrial, (like what the cop/ppv vehicles have).
Besides tan, you have light gray, dark gray (graphite), and supposedly black. There are a few other specialty trims, but unless you somehow find all of one complete, I would stick with the light gray so you can piece it together if needed, (the others are pretty hard to find, or you will pay for em).
FROM WHAT I HAVE SEEN: The entire dash should be easy to find in good condition. Door panels are about as easy. Pillar panels, A and C both have tight clips, and will brake off the mounting tabs when removed if you do it wrong and don't have a trim tool . Seats with good covers on them is about the hardest thing to find out of the interior; If you find those first, you should be able to get the rest quickly.
