If its a VHO it has an LQ9. The LQ4 came in the 1500HDs and 2500HDs. VHO trucks, Denalis, and Escalades all got the LQ9. Your truck will have electric fans being an 06 model. It has a 4L65E trans and a 14 bolt rear end with torsion bar front suspension. Other than the factory G80 locker being trash and 4L65E taking a dump once you make some power there isnt much bad to say about them. But of course were all biased here lmfao.

Ok well thanks for all the input guys. I actually took the G80 out already and swapped for a detroit. So I am good I think with the rearend. The transmission is what scares me, I switched from a Ford F-150 to this truck and the shift patterns are just so different that I sometimes feel as if something is wrong with it. But I think its just me, not the truck itself.

Well I dont necessarily mean a "shift pattern", just the way it shifts.
