Maybe I am understanding wrong! The non GM tune does or does not show up? Even with the stock tune in place, will the other tune leave a detectable footprint in place that the Tech 2 can see?
I got my truck back with the new engine. So far so good. At least for now.
Will be towing car to track this weekend. About a 600 mile round trip. No more knock knock jokes from the ford crowd!
How does that 3" Dynomax SS catback sound? Does it have a bad "droan" inside the cab.

I put my tune back to stock and all the calibration numbers are what they should be.

I did the step by step process in the Gm tsb 09-06-04-026b, with a tech2 to verify this. There
are screenshots in my other post to show this.

It doesn't appear that tech2 has a function to check calibration history, althought
the tech2 can be networked and there may be other ways to look at history that are not in the
Tech2 handheld menus.
So, to answer your question, no footprint that I can see, someone else may know different.
IF so, they could reply with specifics.

I think the source of confusion is the Gm tsb itself.

Gm has 2 separate diagnostic tools,
Tech2- for our trucks to 2011.
Global A- for Camaros and some other newer stuff.
I do not beleive the Global A is backward compatible, ie.. can read a tech2 system.
The TSB outlines the test process for both, if not read carefully, you could assume tech2 shows
history. I made that mistake myself when I first read the tsb and posted some incorrect info.

The systems are different,
Tech2 shows a current calibration.
Global A, can show calibration history.

I could be wrong, if so, any one, feel free to correct me with specific info.

The Dynomax exhaust is basically the same as Magnaflow, straight thru stainless muffler and pipes.
The fit is ok, but the grade of stainless is poor and the muffler looks like it was welded by a kid, not the same quality as
Magnaflow, but the function and sound would be the same.
