2500 van + e fans
2006 model. any good recepies out there? my dads clutch fan went out and he has been wanting to add a set of fans. heading out to the junkyard this weekend to dig something up. ls1 fans a good fit or look for something larger?

Well man, i would think the 05 up truck /SUV Efans would work, not sure though if you have a 34'' radiator, i will go out tomorrow and measure the rad in my 04' Van.
Bieng a 6.0 i'm 99.9 % sure you have the 34'' rad.
If its a 28'' rad the LS1 fans will work, as also they will work on the 34'', but you will need to fab up a mounting bracket.
Also Blackbear as well as other sponsors here can sell you a fan wiring harness to use the PCM to turn the fans on, or you can wire up a thermostat switch to control them.
Let us know what you find at the boneyard.

thanks for the post. some guy told my dad the factory e fans would work because all the accessories are the same on the vans and trucks but i dont think he understands how specific the fans are and how they mount. if its the same radiator i can probably make them work, but not sure about the core support. ill know something by sunday.
