Try different stall speeds and see how it goes. Yesterday I tried a run with a 2500 rpm stall and got a 16.297. Then I tried three runs at 1500 rpm and got a 16.008, 16.139 and a 16.029. It looks to be .15 to .29 faster stalling at 1500 rpm. It still spins a bit on my stock Firestones @ 50 psi but they hook up faster. I can only imagine the wheelspin you must be getting even with your taller and wider tires.

so far the highest I can brake stall post blower is 2000 at a very low throttle position.
Yeah, it can jump on ya from time to time, the other day i was making a right handed turn and was where I thought was a good distance from the turn exit (as any added steering angles only make the problem worse), I think I was going about 20mph, I start to accelerate, maybe 1/4 throttle, and the freakin tires go up in smoke...........lol............I love this ****!

I launch at 1900 RPM and 10 PSI of boost. Of course, mine might not be an exact comparison....

Being cut right now. Prolly another week before I see them. I am hoping to have them ready for the diesel shootout in Bowling Green, KY on May 7th.

They are gonna be some fat biotches for sure on the 12 inch rims.

I hope they hook well because I am looking forward to being able to bring the nitrous in during first gear. Of course then who knows what will be the next problem dealing with 1400 foot pounds of torque?

if you get a chance, could you take a pic, with a tape measure showing the clearance thats left from the inner edge of the tire to the leaf pack?
you went with 6" BS and the section width on the Nostalgia is 13.6, so maybe I can get away with 6.5 or 6.75......

I was very tempted to try a bigger backspace but when you are working with a custom rim that you can't send back I decided to play it on the safe side. I will definitely send you a pic with the measurement.

Sorry for the thread hi-jack. The last Hemi quadcab I ran posted a 10.6 in the 1/8th mile to my 8.4 at the time. I was a very easy kill and flat made the Hemi look bad. The Lightning kill in the next round was even more fun though...

I say with a good 4WD launch you will smoke em.

I'm gonna go against the masses and say that your truck will not beat a QC Hemi...

The 2500HD 6.0L 4X4s are pretty damned slow. My buddy has one and I drive it often enough to say that it sucks going from my 4.8L RCSB or even my Z71 back when I was almost stock.

At one point I htink our only mod differences was a converter and I whooped his tail HARD in my Z71. It waqsn't the converter either. LOL

I have to say I think the Hemi might be quicker, but there is only one way to tell.
