Default 275/45/20 tires

Need some input from anyone with experience with 275/45/20's. I'm looking to get a set and wanna know what you guys recommend. I wanted some Nitto 404's but they don't make em' in that size. I already did a search but I thought I'd get more input this way.

I don't have em' yet, just ordered them last week. I wanted your 17's, but I got a pretty good deal on the 20's new. They were supposted to ship this past Mon. from Cali. So I'm hoping it won't take too long. Doesn't really matter when I get em' though, cause I wanna do the drop before they go on.

I got the Centerline Stingray III's in 20X8. Lots of folks have these but I've always liked them.

I am doing a 285/50/20 and was told it should look good. I started a thread a couple of weeks ago about this. You might be able to find it in a search, the 2 sizes are compareable in width, yours would just be shorter.

I just put that exact combo on my new project. It rides nice and handles much better now. The ratio was EXACTLY the same as my stock 245/75/16 wheels. With a tape measure they stand about 29" tall.

I hear the tracion is no good on these tires which I agree with but being my first set of 20s and having a one-legger I cannot say for sure.

Im using 28/5/50/20's. Want to go shorter, I cant drop with these tall things.

F8L,

I've have a set of Stingray III's with 275/45/20 Goodyear GTII's now for over a year. The Goodyears were the cheapest I could find. They handle great in normal driving but in hard driving I have traction issues and in the rain it is worse. Overall they are a decent tire. I will be putting on a set of Hankooks when these wear out.
