Default 275-50-17 tires on stock 03 and up 5 spoke lt wheels

i have a 2000 ecsb with 2 inch shackles. would these tires look to small or be to big? i have the wheels and they are about to be powdercoated like no other . i will eventually drop the truck but in the mean time i want it to look decent.

Cuerva's truck is lowered alot though. That tire is WAY to small for just 2" shackles... thats only a 27.8" tall tire and the stockers for a 2wd are 30" tall

This is a 255/60/17 with a 2/4 drop (29" tire). IMO they were about 1/2" to short

This is a 255/70/16 with just 2" lowering shackles (30" tire). still 1/2" to short imo

If it helps I will be running 17s with just a 2" shackle drop also on my Ext cab. I on the other hand will most likely be running a 265/65/17, I would love to run a 275 but cant seem to find the right height I want in that width. Ill post pics when its all finished

Dont do that short of a tire on a basically stock height truck... it will look terrible... I'm doing 275/60-17's with a 3/5 drop if that gives you an idea...

I posted in show in shine about 17s. Some use 275/60/17s or 285/60/17s, they look good to me. See my thread.

Exactly! Imo id run a 30.5" tall tire on these trucks all day with stock suspension... even with 2" lowering shackles too, you tire will never fill the wheel well if you go with anything less and dont drop it (I realize you said youd eventually be dropping it... just dont want to see you runnin around on a 28" tall tire for however long it takes to drop it)

Anyone have pics of a 275/60/17 with just 2" lowering shackles?

Ben what brand tire you gonna run in your 275/60/17s, UHPs again?

Those MAY be too wide for a stock GM 17... arent they 7.5" wide? Trust me im running those for sure if they fit
