The 275/60's are 1" taller and the Wrangler is really a 4WD tire and it's on my 2WD truck. The LS's only have a wear rating of 300 I think, they are soft and wear out in about 30K miles with no burnout's eat them up. The Wrangler has a wear rating of 440 (I think), harder rubber, doesn't grip ar well. My Wranglers will be worn out in about 30K (not that I've ever done a burnout), then I'll have to figure what tire I want too. I've had expensive tires and cheap tires, not much difference to me but that's just me. Seems like the better the tire handles, the softer the compound and they will wear out quickly. Buy what you think will give you long wear and good grip.

I will admit my GTII's are weraing pretty well. Traction is acutally pretty good too. Gor mine for $130 a pop from OnlineTires. When these tires are gone, Im gonna get some Hankook Ventus's or some Dueler HP's in 275/45 so I can drop.

That's good to hear about the GTII's, the 305/50R20 selection isn't great and they get damn expensive. I figured I could get the tires online but then you have to pay shipping and then get them installed. Amercia's Tire has the 305/50R20 GTII's for $187 each installed, that's the cheapest around here.

Be sure to check out the Nitto Extreme Force 404's... I have 295/50/20's, which are 31.6 inches tall, right in the middle of your choices. They are a little more expensive but are really worth it... they stick well!

probably 32.5 inches or almost 33 inches tall. I think you might have a problem fitting those on the stock 8 inch wide wheels.

The tire calculators and the little math formula I was shown say they are 32" tall, the 275/60R20's I currently have are 33". I think the 275's I have are to tall for a 4x2 truck, I want a shorter, fatter looking tire. The 305's should give me a little better traction (1" wider) and they will effectivly change my 3.92 gears to 4.04's, that should help low end to get this heavy *** truck moving a little quicker.

The Ram factory 20's wheel are 9" wide (20 x 9), at least that's what I've been told.
