I will update this thread when I get everything lashed up.
No, I'm saying with the new larger rotors. The rotor hat size is different. The only way the new calipers will sit centered over the rotor, is if the caliper's center to knuckle mount, only changes by the difference in the hat size. The calipers themselves are larger, and (based on the video, and what others have said about this) there must be a different mounting position on the 2019 knuckles.

Here's 7:38 video on the entire swap, showing the shim. When you add the shim to center the caliper, you push it that much farther out.

17s won't fit though, need 20s or bigger.

17”s will fit but it depends on the wheel.

I have 30k miles with lots of towing, and aggressive driving on my ground down calipers. No issues to report except all other vehicles I drive feel to have inferior brakes.

@adriver Correct, T1XXs came with factory 17s and 18s lest we forget.

Now generations before then I am unsure.

I said 17s won’t fit because I was thinking about 6 piston, pretty sure those are too big.

Iirc OEM NBS Denali 17”s did not fit with the 4 pistons. A set of 17” method roost wheels I had fit as well as PPV steelies which was surprising.

Of course that was with the hump ground and possibly a 1/4” spacer I can’t remember but I know that I posted it somewhere.

Update:
Still very happpy with 13.5" rotors, HydroBoost and four piston 2020 spec Half-Ton brakes, retrofitted to 2002 Tahoe. Best brakes I've EVER used on any pickup truck..

DATA Point: factory GM 18" Aluminum wheels from 2017 will NOT clear the four piston brakes.

Also, be prepared for the brake pedal to travel further for the same amount of brake force, since these calipers require more fluid.

Thank you for the warning about getting out the GRINDER.
I am still Running the calipers whole, " As Cast "
Brake pedal TRAVEL was not increased by any perceptible degree.
The 2020 front brake parts fit well, and work well.
VERY good, easily modulated brakes. Still easy to use on ice, and snow.
