Default 4l60e cooler line removel trick

Ok whats the trick to get the little snap ring out of the trans cool line at the trans. what a pain the azz.

Use a pick or a small flat head screwdriver to push on the side of it. Its an E clip, not a snap ring. Push on the edge of the E or pull from the middle.

Best way ive found is to grab one side with a 90* or hook pick and it will pop out of one sode and you can grab it with the pick or your fingers and pullit rest of the way without it going on a one way trip to nowhere!!!

Use a small hook pic as Wolf suggested.

I would also suggest a few spare clips. They are called "e-clips".

Well got home with a small pick and 30 seconds later BINGO the line was off.
