Service engine light on? If everything's there and eveyrything's hooked up, sounds like an electrical problem. Any change in the pcm when you got the tranny changed? Fluids ok in the transfer case? I'm assuming this is the autotrac, correct me if i'm wrong.

Did you unplug the 2 plugs from the shift module on the drivers side of the tranny? make sure no progs got bent.other than that make sure all the plugs for the encoder motor on the transfer case are connected.
