Default 5.3 and 4l60E setup

I need some help. Okay I have a 5.3 and 4L60E. I want it to be a sleeper and a daily driver and be able to take it to the track and do 8-10 sec.. This is what im looking at cam wise. Texas Speed 220/220 .581/.581 1200-6200 rpm 116 LSA sleeper idle. , texas speed 224/224 .566/.566 XE 115LSA 1600-6400rpm,, 224/224 .581/.581 1400-6300 rpm 116LSA,, 228/228 .588/.588 114LSA 1600-6300 rpm.,,, 237/242 .603/.609 2300-6800 rpm 114LSA. 239/242 .649/.609 2300-6800 rpm 112LSA.. Which torque converter?? Want it to not jump to 3000 rpm as soon as i punch it want it to be able to tow 1500LBS. want it to take off immediately, no rpm drops between shifts( going to have it tuned so i can manually shift it also hd2 kit and servos.). Which gears? 3.23 3.73 4.10 4.30 4.56. 4.88??? im gonna have the heads worked a little bit along with the Throttle Body and some other things. Anything else im over looking please tell me. OH and its a reg. cab swb 2wd. Dont know if it matters i want to be able to do 0-60 in 3-3.5 seconds. if possilbe 80 mph first gear maybe 70 and soon as i shift i want it to have no rpm drop and the MPH to keep climbing. THANKS

Wow!!
Sorry...not going to happen....you are wanting to tow and an all out drag truck...you can have a median, but you better go back and read all you can before you make any purchases.
0-60 in 3.5 seconds is easy

WOW......that's alot to ask considering you want to tow fully and not go over a 3k stall.

Either don't tow and go all out or keep a mild build as im doing so you can still tow good and use the truck when needed, but yet surprise some people too on the street.

i think he can do all of what he wants here... as long as he goes to the 1/8th mile track.

he will have a solid 9-10 second rig that can tow.

oK i mean the towing part wont happen very often but i want to be able to pull a tiny trailer it might not even be 1500 lbs with stuff on it. This is what i want. I dont want to have to mash the gas to take off. I want the torque to be right where the cams operating range is along with the hp. Like if i hold the brake to 1500 rpm i want the rpms to maybe jumpo to 2000 but the truck has already started pulling hard and the mph are going fast. I want the power from 1500 rpm to atleast 6000 rpm cause shift points will be set at 6000. so should i maybe go with one of the cams that has the powerband at 1800 to 6500 or so where would it start pulling and everything ASKING ALOT: I could say a 12,000 dollar engine but a little too much for me....... I want a SLEEPER:: help me build one from a 5.3 and 4L60 E. No lope from cam. Want truck to pull from 1500 to 2000 rpm all the way to 6,000 and beyond but shift points at 6000 0-60 1 st gear 3.5 seconds. The mods to go with the stuff will be true duals shift kit servos c.a.i or ram air hood, custom tune(possibly dyno tune) what else. help me please im all ears...

500hp shot of direct port nitrous that comes on at 1500rpm and you will have a vehicle that has all the power you want down low...Hold on! FLT Level 5 "4l80E" and 6.5:1 compression ratio with nitrous pistons. Probably need a 4 bottle setup. Will tow fine off nitrous... atleast 1500lbs. Simple to do... ask anyone.

ok ok....look you are new so we'll cut you a little slack. 0-60 in 3.5 seconds is pretty freaking fast...uh, faster than most production hi performance cars.

Look around, look at the "FTL" and see who's truck you like, then look at their mod list. Good luck!
