Haha you guys are funny with the back and forth comments...to answer your question on the headers...I put them on not knowing it wasn't high temp paint so when it flaked off I cleaned them well and painted with vht flameproof that stuff is awesome if cured properly...been on for 2 months and they look as good as the day I painted them and I have been driving on salted roads in maine...well worth a little time to coat them yourself it only cost me $20 I'm happy with the outcome and they sound better because the ceramic keeps the exhaust pulse noise down

I only see one idiot in this thread... There is a difference in maintenance and a manufacturer's defect. GM should have done more to fix this issue IMO. What kind of warranty is GM providing with their new vehicles? Is it transferable? If I bought a NNBS with 50k and had an issue like this I would expect the dealership to take care of the problem and they probably would no questions asked. No difference in situation here, other that the unfortunate variance in warranty. And with a problem as large as the issue they have had with these heads, I don't think bitching over the issue is unreasonable at all...
