Default 5.3 on Eps 222/226 111lsa New set up

Well its been a long two months of waiting for my eps cam.. i finally got it on friday now need to make time to go install it.. current set up lunati voodoo 217/223 549/549 113lsa on a 4x4ecsb 5.3 HO engine comes with 799 heads which were milled .030 to get 10.5 compression and 3200 circle d.. 4.10 gears, lt headers dual 3'' exhaust into di/do magnaflow... best time 1.87 60' 8.62 @ 80.62 1/8 mile street tires.. never got to run 1/4 mile.
new set up changing the cam and stall.. going to a 222/226 598/597 111lsa and a circle d 3600 3c... at first i was scared because of the stall but i drove a friends truck and i liked it.. now i hope i can get better times.. shooting for 8.4s
what do u guys think.. im stoked about my new set up that i just want to ask for ur opinion.. i know the best thing would be to install it and run it but that will take a couple weeks so i thought i would post it up and c what u all think.. will i hit 8.4s? i hope the 9 3/4 converter helps launch and the shift extensions help my top end... as well as the bigger cam.. thanks..

Sounds like a nice setup, I think that you'll get the 8.4 no problem, maybe even faster

More cam and more converter, no problemo. I think that the converter alone will be worth a tenth, and guys are loving their EPS cams I really like those specs for a 5.3, should have a nice powerband and you won't have to spin it to the moon to get there

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you, but I don't think that you'll need it

Thanks. Cam was specd by patrick I asked to spin no more than 6500 rpm I really like it also I can't believe I started with a 212/218. Lol... and that 9 3/4 converter better be worth a tenth its way smaller then the 11 3/4 one I have. Lol.. installing all in the next two weeks then jumping on the dyno..

Bumpers yea I know. Working on my front since its already a problem when I launch. Looking to do what many others have done on the 4x4s and strapping it down.. if its still real bad Idk still thinking what my other option will be. I guess I can worry about that once I get there. I still think I can cut better times on the 60' mayb not the best but better!..

Oh yea, I forgot about traction...I think Bumpers hit the nail on the head, that's going to be the next issue

I did a 2.125 60ft on mud tires on a unprepped track.. I wish I could do a 1.8-9 I could run mid 8s but I'm gunna have to do the strapping and all that too before I can ever launch in 4wd
