I am sure he got more power from the intake and no muffler + hes 2wd like gonzo said, i wonder what a hemi with 4x4 and no intake just drop in and no muffler i would bet he would get the same or less

 

Better yet,that ram vs VHO muffler&intake and a $75 PCM tune and the ram get a $350 programmer just to make it fair.Some of the dodge boys dont think its far to stack a ramVS GM because we can do a lot with custom tunes,they also dont want to compare apple to apple truck becasue the GM is lighter.To bad they cant engineer a truck to do the job with less weight.They will have an excuse for the dyno too.

 

So what the GM is lighter our power train is better, i would be ashamed if i had a 5.7 and made the power of a 5.3. some say the gm is better because its bigger so what if you advertise 345 of a smaller engine isnt that better but they dont put out the advertised or even close at least the gm does. The excuse for this would be i guess let me put a superchips in there and well see who wins because our computer suck, now do the same to the 5.3 i would bet you would see some gains as the dodge if not better.

If anyone needs a good laugh, see how delusional some of these guys are,it is truely comical.They believe they were and are the fastest.These guys believe the TV commercials to be true,doing burnouts on concrete and spell words with the tire marks,jumping the trucks on the hiway,the hemi beating a dragster.It happends almost daily someone on the forum has a major internal engine issue with low miles,their buddys say O'well thats why we have warrentys and ALL the other makes do the same.BS,they really believe the "HEMI" is superiour to everything else "They" meaning a percentage of them with the same mentallity

 

The funny part is they say they can beat a SS with a wuad cab equiped about the same, i see the SS runs low 15s and high 14s i run with a hemi Quad cab and beat it if its stock i wonder what they are runing to beat a ss. If a reg cab hemi can almost get beat by a ss stock trust me that qd aint going going nowhere close to that ss unless its 2wd wich runs 15.3-15.2. They say you got .3 over on us so you advertise the hp so you have it right at least the SS keeps 295-305hp stock unlike the hemi with 260+ stock. i just wish one day i would get aside of a hemi quad with some1 i knew inside so they wont be sneaking crap under the hood or a superchips. They were talking about the 6.0s having piston slap what about their so called HEMI TICK.

 

That is freaking hilarious! I had a guy in a Charger or whatever those cars are challenge me to a race the other day on my way to work (in my car not my truck). I let him get beside me and feel like he was winning for about one second then I him. What a joke, I almost felt sorry for him thinking about how the commercials and I am sure the salesman convinced him to buy that hemi rocket.
I only know of one person that has a hemi truck, (stock 4x4 ecsb) we raced to the fuel cutoff on my truck (stock 4x4), I started out in front and he couldn't pass me until the dreaded 97mph fuel cutoff.

Just fyi, I have witnessed a 4x4 QC/SB 1500 hemi run 15.2 stock, and 15.0 with a programmer he installed at the track. A little slower then a SS by about a fender.

 

15.2 stock 4x4 thats what 4x2 guys are runing he either had something you didnt kno about or the track timing was off or he has a fast a$$ ram seeing that he is almost beating the RC hemis.
