id go with a 427 zo6 motor. or a 408.

truckmann... I think the 408 is a carburetor engine

No the 408 is a stroked 6.0L so it is still an Lsx motor, and I think you can have one built for around $4000 less than buying a 502.

DLH2006 ,,, I live in Qatar located in (Arabian Gulf ) i used to study in USA Kansas City since 1998-2003 .


LARRY01Z28,,, 427 Z06 good motor, but i didn't see anyone use this motor on a 4X4 truck

its because its a new motor( 427 z06 motor aka ls7) and not many people have them period

hell buy a lsx block and you can have a big cube ls motor and make upwards or 600hp n/a and it will bolt in. there is so much you can do with the ls based motors it is rediculous to go back to old technology.
