everything went smooth as owl ****
i am still going to do the comp trunion upgrade
and i wish colorado had more of a ls oriented crowd
im having a hell of a time trying to get this truck tuned
im wanting a data log or maybe a dyno to see where my injectors are at.
the pacesetter headers fit perfect to my factory Y pipe
the cam is WoW. its easy to spin the tires to a burn from take off
there seems to be so much more damn power everywhere than the
5.3 had. @ 75mph instead of screamin at me and thinking of taking off
i move now with the 6.0

im installing the b&m super cooler for the tranny this weekend
i hope it survives until next tax season( lol )

no regrets, ive been reading the good and bad on this forum and ls1 tech for
quite awhile now and i had my goals set for what i wanted before i actually begun

if i didnt have emissions i wouldve considered a cam like TSP torquer2 for my truck. but a cam much bigger than mine i think is overcam for the 317
stock heads, intake, on the stock 6.0 and i replaced my valve springs with those ls6 blue ones
maybe one of those EPS cams would been wise

a total of about 14 hours to swap motors and starting the 6.0 by myself
in my little *** garage last week end

thanks for asking and i apologize for the novel

i agree about the injectors, mine are the 5.3 inj. and it sure seems like
i lose alot of power from 4k up
so im looking at the 42# from fast. i dont plan on a fuel pump upgrade or ever boosting it

mine is a 2001 and not a 4x4

that cam has a nice lope sound but not too hard lope
just enough to make one ask "is that cammed?"
If your still on a stock 5.3 tune, A tune will fix that... stock injectors have been used on much larger cams. The air tables are also configured around the smaller bore too which would be adjusted in the tune.

You will notice a huge difference.

No problem! This site can be confusing especially if you go to the LS1TECH side.
I am still learning about the tuning aspect of things myself.

Its amassing what simple changes can be made and what a difference it makes on how the engine performs.

Howard cams. One of them I believe was a custom grind and the other one was one a standard cam for them I guess.
