also think of this. those wheels were made to handle the weight of a car....not a fullsize truck. you can get away with using car wheels on the Sseries since they are about the same weight. i see it as going to a car show that is like 4 miles away ok being a and idea but to put 20k a year on it...nope

Waiting on the other 2 adapters to arrive. Rears are installed. Pics added to the first post.
Wheels fit perfect other than the tires are not wide or tall enough. But they tuck in just had to roll the fenders a bit. Truck feels more stable now and a little smooter. Just drove them for a few miles top speed like 50. I'll drive them more tomorrow then check all the nuts and bolts. As long as i stay from the curb, i think they will be fine. Torqued them all to 110 ft lb's.

UPDATE:
I put a little over 200 miles today on the rears. Also did a couple of nice burnouts and so far so good. Im sure if i ever spun out of control or hit a curb then maybe they will bend or break. I dunno, we'll see.

They look pretty good!! Some bigger meat would benefit the look like you were mentioning but they look pretty good! Hope to hear how those spacers hold out and all! You should color match or do something with that chrome lip...not a big fan of it. Cool truck though.

well, it's been several months. How many miles have you put on the truck since then? I'm guessing from the looks of your truck that you don't tow anything, right?

I should've thought about the wheel spacers.

My 05 Silverado has big *** drum brakes on the back. I'm wondering if my 17x8.5 Impala SS wheels might fit? I doubt it since they only have a 5" backspace.

I guess I could redrill the wheels... just thinking out loud.
