Default 60# Injector install

Asked a couple questions in another thread. Figured I'd post up some pictures as I go along.

Racetronix 60# Injectors Siemens FI114961. They are flow matched. Most of you guys know but those that don't they are about 5/8" taller than the stockers. Have to fab up 5/8" spacers and get some 5/8" longer bolts. You also will have to change out the connectors.

On my Maggie truck to get it done easiest had to remove the charger J-tube, coil packs, dipstick tube, undo fuel lines, and numerous connectors and vacuum hoses.

Anyway, some pictures of what I've got done so far. I'll post up some shots when I start the connector swap.

J-tube in the floor

Damn near impossible to get the fuel rail bolts on this side with the j-tube on.

Good picture of the spacers doing their thing.

Shot of the drivers side.

Thanks guys. Getting them in is going to be the easy part I think. Getting it to run right, the tuning, will be the fun part.

naw, I'm sure you'll have no problems.

What was your IDC with the 43's?

Over 100 @ 6300 rpm 1-2 shifts. I've lowered my shift points of late. 87% @ 5800 rpms. This is with methanol and adding about 25% of my fueling WOT. I have been out of injector for too long.

I've done a LOT of research on the necessary injector changes in the tune. I think I have a good starting point..... We'll see.
