Is it really that easy. NOTHING with GM is that easy. Im gonna have a fuel pump problem after this, I can see it now.

Let me get this straight...

Yellow is the ground to the lows. Cut one ground, for only one headlight, or cut the ground for both lows, (the yellow on both low lights), and ground it /them to the body, and thats it?

Cut both grounds for both low beam headlights, and "ground them," 24-7. The grounds that come off the plugs, NOT the ground that goes back to the fuse box, tape that sucker off.

alright i went ahead and just cut the wires since i guess thats the only way to do it. but it took like five minutes and was super easy.

i hope this is all thats required b/c i have piaa high and low beam and i definately dont want to blow $30 a piece bulbs.

I have the same bulbs . . . you're going to wish that you did this since day one . . . you're going to like it, Ground it to the frame or engine block if you're really worried

ive had this mod done to every NBS truck ive owned. tons of other guys have done it without any issues. dont wory about it.

yeh it looks good when you barely pull the lever back and hold it and all 4 come on. i might do this tonight.

so just cut the yellow wire coming straight off the bulb connector and ground it then do the same for the other side? sorry i know i sound dumb but im not wanting any surprises with this. so which end of the yellow wire do you ground? connector end or the other
